I live in Chicago with my wife, daughter, dog & cat. I grew up in Ashland, Ohio, and graduated from Otterbein College. During and after college, I studied in London, interned in New York and traveled to Asia.

I have over six years of design experience, hand-code my HTML, PHP & CSS, and work in Coda, Adobe CS5 applications, Visio, Camtasia and ScreenFlow. I have experience in web, print, community management, social media, content coaching, public relations, marketing and journalism.

I’m currently the Associate Director of Digital Strategies for Undergraduate Admissions at Columbia College Chicago.

I was the Interactive Marketing Manager at TCS Education System. I get to manage our online community, build our alumni magazine, make other sites and generally educate people about using the web and social media.

And recently was a Lead Interactive Designer in the marketing department of Pearson, a world-leading international media company that you’ve probably never heard of. I worked extensively to create an engaging user experience.
